ROMAG completed the Caledon East Well #4 part of the Caledon East groundwater system. The pump station building is aesthetically clad with a brick veneer. The pump station building houses all equipment, piping and tankage.
The contract also included the construction and installation of new chlorine contact tanks, sanitary holding tanks, a new diesel generator, and 3 new greensand catalytic oxidation filtration systems. Mechanical installation also included new well pumps, supernatant pumps, submersible pumps, chemical feed pump systems, UV units, new piping and valves. The electrical installation included new electrical power feed system including integration/ modification of existing systems, and a new SCADA system. ROMAG was responsible for all start-up, testing and commissioning of the facility.
The site for this project was a challenging, narrow access, limited working space at an existing facility. ROMAG successfully completed the project on schedule and managed various sub-trades. ROMAG had to relocate the CPP Tank to be able to complete this small but challenging project.
