St. George WWTP Upgrades, St. George, Ontario

ROMAG is constructing the St. George Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrades.

The plant has a current average daily flow capacity of 1,300 m3/d and peak daily flow capacity of 3,900 m3/d. The plant is being upgraded for new rated average daily flow capacity of 3,900 m3/d and peak instantaneous flow capacity of 14,820 m3/d.

The project involves the construction of a new Headworks Building housing screening and grit removal equipment, complete with electrical room, HVAC and plumbing, odour control system, alum storage tank and chemical feed equipment and a new Process Building with Bioreactor Tanks housing pre-selected membrane bioreactor system, mechanical mixers, fine bubble air diffuser system, pumps, blowers, complete with electrical room, HVAC and plumbing. The construction of a new outfall and outfall chamber, complete with installation of new headwall, maintenance holes and gates. Modifications to the existing Control Building laboratory area, office and lunchroom areas, UV equipment, effluent water system, blower systems. Upgrades to existing circular package secondary treatment tank and sludge storage tank to new Aerobic Digesters Stages.
